Unchanged versions I.
Silver gelatin analogue photogram series / 2024 / 24 × 30.5 cm
Using the photogram technique, I recorded the shadow variations of a rigid grid – a fixed, stable structure. I manipulated the outcome through two external factors: altering the angle of incident light during exposure and bending the photosensitive paper.
The resulting images present different shadows of the same object, which at times become distorted, shift apart, or merge into entirely new, autonomous forms. The series poses the question: which one is the “real” shadow? What constitutes an authentic representation? Where is the boundary between reality and perception? Is there a single true image, or are all versions equally valid imprints of something we can never directly see?
