Using the cyanotype process on large cotton sheets, this work captures the imprints of a body and the garments that once covered it. Each piece can be interpreted independently, yet the gently translucent material allows the two images to be viewed simultaneously from certain angles, as if projected onto one another.
From this perspective, the relationship between the vulnerable body and the protective clothing becomes perceptible, revealing the dynamics between physical and metaphorical layers. The garments reflect social roles and expectations, while the bare body points to physical and emotional exposure.
