As the first step of the process, I photographed the developer tray. Then I developed this image in the very same tray, photographed it again, and repeated this cycle over and over. Since the photographs were taken during the development phase, the analogue image was each time exposed to light in the darkroom and instantly destroyed, completely darkening. The repetition of this process produced a single, infinitely recursive image, in which the developer tray appears in ever-decreasing scale, collapsing into itself.
