The work System Errors presents a photographic series in which a grid structure disintegrates under the influence of water. The unpredictable movement of water continuously alters the refraction of light, and this shifting refraction destabilizes the previously stable, geometric system. Consequently, each image displays distortions that vary in direction and intensity. These unexpected disintegrations were later organized into an algorithmic framework inspired by the creative mindset of Vera Molnár.
Created for the Hidden Hommage exhibition of the Vajda Lajos Studio, the work examines how elements that originated from systemic breakdown can be reorganized into a new visual order.
